Van Gogh Painting (Re-)Discovered @ The Hague

"It was, it wasn’t, it is: A still life once thought to be by Vincent van Gogh but later downgraded to being the work of an anonymous artist is indeed by the tormented Dutch impressionist himself, researchers announced Tuesday."

This exciting art news was recently reported by The Associated Press.

The real experts in the Netherlands and beyond were apparently not that surprised by the finding. But this is nonetheless pretty exciting stuff for the rest of us, especially Van Gogh's legions of fans. (I'm one of them.)
